Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
The season finale at Yas Marina, in late November or early December, is the busiest weekend of the year for Abu Dhabi's airports. Abu Dhabi International is about ten minutes from the circuit; Al Bateen is the executive airport in the city. Parking fills early, and aircraft often drop passengers and reposition to Dubai Al Maktoum.
Request as soon as the dates are confirmed, and plan arrival two days before the race for the busiest slots.
Monaco Grand Prix and the Cannes Film Festival
The Cannes Film Festival is in May and the Monaco Grand Prix in late May or early June; both rely on Nice Côte d'Azur and Cannes Mandelieu. Nice is seven minutes from Monaco by helicopter; Cannes Mandelieu, for light and midsize jets, is ten minutes from the Croisette. Parking on the busiest days is limited, so drop and reposition is the norm.
Art Basel, in Basel and Miami Beach
Basel Mulhouse EuroAirport serves Art Basel in June; Zurich is an alternative about an hour away. For Art Basel Miami Beach in December, Opa-locka and Fort Lauderdale Executive are the private airports, with heavy traffic all week.
