The classes companies fly
Board members and teams rarely fly the smallest jets: they want a cabin where they can work and stand, a lavatory and room for luggage. Most corporate charter happens in three classes.
Midsize Jet
e.g. Citation XLS · up to 8 seats
€4,800 to €6,200 / hour
Super Midsize Jet
e.g. Challenger 350 · up to 9 seats
€6,200 to €8,000 / hour
Heavy Jet
e.g. Falcon 900 · up to 12 seats
€8,000 to €11,000 / hour

Per traveller, not per aircraft
A super midsize jet seats up to 9. With the cabin full, London to Geneva works out from €1,400 per traveller, one way, door to door with no check in queue and the meeting prepared on board.
How companies budget it
Companies that fly a few times a year book trip by trip. From a few dozen hours a year a corporate account fixes the hourly rate by class and the payment terms in advance, and one invoice covers every flight. Owning starts to make sense only with several hundred hours a year.
